Association Content Marketing Program

Momentum is the largest MS-related content marketing program in the world consisting of a print magazine, delivered to more than 500,000 people throughout the United States; a responsive website; and a tablet application available on Android and iPad.

In 2012, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society partnered with GLC to redesign Momentum and introduce robust digital companions to the magazine. Together, we overhauled the content to better align story topics with readers’ interests. We also introduced new editorial departments to make the content more user-friendly and in line with its “living well” philosophy. These departments include “Thrive,” “In the know,” “This is me,” and “Fired up.” In addition, the magazine interfaces now with the website and tablet, introducing and promoting Society links, videos, and web-exclusive content.

  • In 2017, traffic to the website increased by nearly 70,000 visits over the previous year
  • Total downloads of the Momentum app are approximately 30,000
  • Total time spent per reader in app averages 20.87 minutes
