The American Planning Association (APA) is the largest membership organization of professional planners and planning resources available. A vast organization, working tirelessly to be the leading authority on making great communities happen across the country, the APA has:
- 38,000 members from 100+ countries
- 47 chapters throughout the United States
- 21 divisions that embrace the wide range of planning
- Two office locations: Chicago and Washington, D.C.
When the APA approached GLC, they needed an agency of record to help manage dozens of projects across the organization from design, project management, social media, and editorial perspectives. Since our partnership began, GLC has created logos, promotional pieces, foundation brochures, planning guides, postcards, signage, and case studies, social media campaigns, and web design, including refinements to the APA’s Great Places in America campaign. In fact, the APA was recently recognized by Planetizen, a leading blog in the planning world, for the Great Places web design and usability.
